Upcoming events and workshops
Kusa Studio Session
Step into the world of Kusamono at The Kusa Studio — an intimate, hands-on workshop celebrating the quiet beauty of plants as living art. Rooted in Japanese botanical tradition, Kusamono, translates loosely to “grass things” and centers around thoughtfully composed plant arrangements that honor seasonality, texture, movement, and simplicity.
In this brand new workshop, you’ll learn about the roots and inspiration behind Kusamono, explore the philosophy that influences our work at The Kusa Studio, and create your own miniature planted composition using carefully selected plants, mosses, stone, and natural elements.
Guests will leave with their own miniature living artwork and a deeper understanding of the beauty found in small worlds, slow observation, and nature-inspired design.
